I had a great experience with Mary Maxim customer service. One of the yarns in my recent order was splitting quite a bit while I was working with it. I honestly thought it might just be one of those chances you take with yarn, but I called to ask about it.
The customer service representative was so nice and told me the yarn should not be separating like that. They sent me a replacement without making the process difficult at all. I was really pleased with how helpful, friendly, and easy they were to work with. Great customer service makes such a difference, and I really appreciated it!
First time ordering a surprise color and I was pleasantly surprised with the color. I made myself a fun sun hat for the beach. It’s floppy so my next one will use some wire for the edge but I still think it’s cute
Good products at a good price
I’m still pretty new to using cotton yarn, and I really love the speckled colors in Premier Cotton. The little pops of color are so cute in finished projects and make even simple patterns look extra fun. It’s easy to work with, has nice stitch definition, and works great for the hats, dishcloths, and other cotton projects I’ve been making. I’ll definitely keep buying the speckles!
I’m pretty new to using cotton yarn, and Premier Cotton has been really easy to learn with. I’ve used it for sun hats and am now trying dishcloths and other patterns. It has nice stitch definition, holds its shape well, and is still soft and easy to work with. I’ve even had to pull out and redo a few sections, and the yarn has held up great. Definitely a cotton yarn I’ll keep using!

I couldn't figure out a way to edit a review. I just wanted to add that I'm not that great on French knots when there are as many as required on the Christmas tree for ornaments. I sewed small beads on the tree instead.
Easy to follow pattern and easily discerned colors. Nothing worse than when you can't tell which yarn is meant to be called which fanciful name. There's none of that nonsense here. I have the vintage set from the early 1980s like this, but the colors were starting to be a little sun faded so this is the perfect refresher for my decor!

I have not received any of the items i purchased and i spent like $73. I was told an item was on back order. I dont understand why the rest of my order could not be shipped
I just finished making this. I had enough canvas scraps and green yarn to add a footstool. I used foam project board to glue to the bottom and the 3 sides so it would stand up straighter.

I really liked it but ran out of yarn and had to buy a second one to be able to finish it.
I ran out of the Natural color yarn. Should have been 100 yards included with kit, not 60.
Kit came intact have not had the opportunity to open and stitch may save for a later date to give to a friend as a birthday gift. No issues was shipped and received in a timely fashion even with the holidays. This particular holiday shipping for Christmas was an issue if you didn’t order early. This item still came in a timely fashion even ordering late in the season.
I love doing plastic canvas kits for Christmas to complete my set that I have made in the last two months.
I have never done this before and I do not like plastic canvas but I thought this design was unique. Still working on cutting it

Easy to follow instructions and looks really great on my table. I also had a teddy bear kit which was the perfect size and finished the project.
The yarn is very poor quality and splits easily. I've only started the project and am concerned I may run out of yarn because I have to keep cutting it after it splits. This kit hasn't been a fun project!

Although the finished product was beautiful, I ran out of yarn on several colours, so I had to order another kit. Also, some of the instructions were hard to understand.
I bought 2 of these kits. One I made a gift and the other for me. The kit was fun to do. I did make a change. I used the continental stitch on the walls. This made the wrong side look much better. I also filled in the blank space behind the mantel. I just left one row all around to join the mantel. The kit had plenty of yarn and good directions. Putting the camper together took a little time to keep all the colors correct. A great kit. I cannot wait to see the reaction of the person I made this kit for as a Christmas present.
