Knit these afghans with our vintage pattern. Includes two great designs, "The Sportsman" & "Modernistic" afghan pattern! Both were created using Mary Maxim Double Knit yarn a 4-ply sport weight with approx. 170 yds per 2 oz skein. Shop all our DK sport-weight yarns for the perfect shades, whether you want to go traditional, modern or anything in between. Keep in mind yardages vary. Intermediate knit.
Modern Materials List:
Main color 19 skeins
CC1 4 skeins
CC2 2 skeins
Knitting needle sizes U.S. 4 (3.50 mm) and medium-size crochet hook.
Modern Stitch Requirements: Cast on, cast off, knit, purl, single crochet.
Sportsman Afghan Materials List:
Main color 18 skeins
CC1 2 skeins
CC2, CC3, CC4, CC5, CC6, CC7, CC8 1 skein each color
Knitting needles size U. S. 4 (3.50 mm) and a medium size crochet hook.
Sportsman Stitch Requirements: Cast on, cast off, knit, purl, stocking stitch, seed stitch.
