Knit this cap and mitts with our vintage pattern. Fluffy soft and cuddly and perfect for chilly winter days. Originally made with Mary Maxim Starlette yarn, a worsted weight yarn that provided 190 yards per 2 oz skein at the time. With the many fantastic options of worsted weight yarns available now, you can pick the perfect one for this project. Requires 2 oz each of worsted yarn for cap and mitts, knitting needles double-pointed needles size U.S. 5 (3.75 mm) and 8 (5 mm).

Is fun to do
My wife uses the wall hangings as a welcome sign to hang on our back door which is protected by a glass storm door. I just finished this one and she cannot wait for spring to be able to hang it up. It was easy to complete and is even more colorful than in the picture.
