Snowy Winter Plastic Canvas Tissue box Cover

This is part of a Christmas gift for an elderly relative. She loves getting handmade gifts. I know she will be happy to get this gift.

silver cord was to big for the canvas. had to buy something smaller witch cost me extra and made my box very expensive.

It was what I wanted, I even did the design , bur put a tea light instead of a tissue box

A bit tricky to cut out snowflake but well worth it. A beautiful tissue box cover!

SOOOO difficult. I had extra canvas and had to ask for help cutting out the pieces. Not fun, but was a special request from family. I had to use pliers to sew the silver.

Lots of fun to make. Very pretty

easy instructions but time consuming

Snow flake hard to cut out ordered pre cut out ones. Working out just as nice. I think it is going to work well

Easy instructions, and fun to watch each panel comes together. I buy a lot of different items from Mary Maxim. High quality supplies with full easy to read instructions. A pretty, quick and useful gift. I like the design because it can be used all winter instead of just Christmas.

Not happy with the stitching directions at all. It doesn't seem as though if they are followed the finished product will look anything like the photo. And the silver finishing cord is so thick it won't go through the plastic mesh at all, much less with the yarn.

I've read the directions and know it will be very easy, can't wait to finish what I'm doing now.

In the process of making it, but so far OK. Instructions are clear. I used different silver thread because my needle eyes were not big enough and also the larger needle did not fit into the holes after the white yarn was woven into it.

I have plenty of experience with plastic canvas but I found the chart, specifically where to do the cutouts, impossible to follow. I tried once, made a mistake, and gave up. It would have been better to have one chart for the cutouts and another for the stitches with the cutout areas blank. I will use the supplies for other projects.

This is an unusual tissue box which really stands out because of the felt piece and pearls.

Not sure how hard it will be have not started it yet

I asked what the blue color was in the background and if it was fabric or paper, and if it was glued or Sewn in
MARYMAXIM answered here online that it in fact was the TISSUE BOX showing through . I then asked another question ,
Where on earth do u find a solid color blue tissue box ????
That question was never answered and of course NEVER posted.
I reluctantly ordered it,

why ask questions if marymaxim isn't going to look into to answer it correctly???
