This dynamic pattern will help you knit a ski hat for anyone, young or old. The Stars and Stripes ski cap in bright red, deep, blue and crisp white was crafted using Mary Maxim sport weight yarn, Mellowspun, which offered 210 yds per 2 oz skein at the time. We have a wonderful selection of sport-weight yarns to choose from today, including Mary Maxim Mellowspun! Keep in mind yardage varies between brands. Sizes: Children-Adult. Materials needed: 2 oz of each color Red, White, and Blue, knitting needles sizes 4 (3.50 mm). Stay warm and show your patriotic pride with this cozy ski hat!
Stitch Requirements: Knit, purl, slip stitch, increase, decrease, repeat, work even or as set, through the back loop, stitch markers.
