Designed using Mary Maxim Bolero bulky weight yarn that offered 75 yds per 2 oz skein. With the wonderful selections of bulky weight brands and colors we offer today, you're certain to find the perfect combination to suit your style! We recommend Mary Maxim Titan! Scarf measures approx. 76" and Tam to fit approx. head size 23". You'll need knitting needles size U.S. 10.5 (6.50 mm) and 15 (10 mm). Intermediate knit. Poncho sold separately.

I have been looking at this pattern and not sure if I will be doing this one. If I do it will be to donate. Not my style. Otherwise it is a nice pattern.
I think this pattern will work in any color you choose. The blues I used looked great also.

Despite being written for USA, it was easy to find out what wool weight would knit up to the right size. I can see it is a ‘vintage aged’ pattern, but with the interest in Basketball today, it is perfect for a keen basketball fan!
