Time to set sail! Knit this nautical cardigan using our vintage pattern in your sailing team colors! Featuring set-in or raglan sleeves, cozy shawl collar and button or zipper closure. Originally knit with Mary Maxim Northland wool in 1965 which offered 80 yds per skein at that time. We currently offer a wide assortment of brands and colors to choose from in bulky yarns! Please note yardage differences. Fits sizes 14, 16, and 18. Requires size U.S. 10 (6 mm) and 7 (4.5 mm) knitting needles. Available in children's, men's sizes and other sailing designs.

I like the colors in this yarn. It works up nicely. Of course, it's very soft and drapey once the item is finished.
I love Vintage yarn. If you're looking for a solid color to go with it, Bone goes well. I recommend buying it whenever you see it. It usually sells out quickly.

I got this very fast.. The pattern is easy to follow. I only buy MJ's patterns. She has you tube videos and always enough yarn with her kits. I do get the biggest size so I can have more yarn. But I always have 3 left over. So another sweater in the future.
I love this kit and my rabbits turned out so cute. My only notes are you have to email for the link to the feet, and I ran out of the brown yarn for the feet hand and nose so one nose had black yarn, but I ended up liking that better. Hope they offer this kit in different colors.
