Knit this vest (pictured right) using our vintage pattern. A fashionable layered look with vertical ribbing for a flattering look, V-neck, capped sleeves, and button front. Created using Mary Maxim Mohair, bulky-weight yarn that offered 50 yds per oz. Browse our entire listing of bulky yarns to find the perfect hue for this project. Note that yardage requirements may vary slightly depending on your specific yarn choices. Materials List: Sizes 32-34-36 (8 balls), Sizes 38-40 (10 balls), knitting needles size U.S. 7 (4.50 mm) and 9 (5.50 mm).

Was so stoked to learn that this was the real pattern adapted for Project Hail Mary's iconic fox cardigan! This was my second time ever trying knit colourwork, first time on a garment. Sized up one needle size as I am a 46-48" bust but really I could have kept the suggested gauge. Grid was easy to edit using stills from the movie to get the fox look, and I bought chunky acrylic yarn as I could not afford the kit. A really fun knit with some great new skills to learn - I loved the pocket construction!
I love this yarn!! It is soft and great to work with. I used Furls Metal hooks and they seemed to work great with it.
Have not started that project yet. I always have 1 waiting, so I always have something to knit in the evenings without waiting to get the next one in the mail! (Last Christmas it was 13 afghans for gifts!)
Love this pattern and the yarn. While I love working on this project sometimes I have to put it down for a bit. Easy to get back into it.

I took a chance and ordered the unbranded cotton and was very pleased. I got a nice cone of varigated teals/purples and a small ball of another type of varigated purples.
Super easy graft to follow! The graft is very large which makes it a breeze to follow. I am happy with the pattern and extra happy with the yarn. If you like soft yarn then you will love the yarn in this kit. Great price for the Snow Queen, but I think the shipping is crazy over priced. I can get yarn shipping from the UK at half the price which makes the deals much better.
