This quaint fellow will melt hearts during the holiday season. Kit includes Mary Maxim Starlette and worsted sparkle yarns and trims to make as shown. Requires crochet hook I-9 and polyfill. Size 13" tall.

I have crocheted six of MJs sweaters in the last 3 years but this is my first kit and first time using MJs yarn. Mary Maxim makes the process very easy by offering kits - they arrive in a clear reusable zipper bag with heavy printed patterns making it easy to start crocheting.
The only thing I have to say is greatness. I got 3 boxes of the same yarn, but a little bit of a difference in each one. If you buy more than 2 maybe make the boyarn different. I love them really addicting.
I saw this is beautiful. As soon as I finished with my current project I’m going to start this!

Easy to follow instructions
Really love this kit! There was plenty of yarn to complete the project and the instructions were very easy to follow. I finished in about a week of off/on work. Had to sew the jacket shut; the instructions say to sew on the buttons and then fasten them through the other side of the coat... but that would not hold, so I just stitched the sides closed under the buttons. The snowman is adorable and will be a great addition to our winter decor or would make a nice gift as well.
The first one I bought was perfect and so cute! But I gave him to my granddaughter for her birthday, so the second one I bought had smaller white yarn, which I didn’t realize until I put his hat on and it was way too big! Mary Maxim is great to work with. They refunded my money and I will try to make it work.
I used my own colors to try the pattern out and it turned out super Great !!
Now I’ll make it with the yarn sent and it will be amazing

I am very happy with this kit. The instructions were easy to follow. The yarn was good to work with and did not split when crocheting with it. He turned out absolutely adorable and was the perfect gift for my snowman lover on my Christmas list.
This is the second one I made and I have another to do for a friend. Very easy to follow the instructions.

Having trouble with the body and head. Really wish you would post a picture so we could see how it looks under the coat. Not sure about the folding part. I love the cute snowman and hopefully he will be finished for extra Christmas.
