This original design was created in the 1960s and was made with Mary Maxim Starlette yarn, which included 140 yards per 2 oz skein. Experience the endless possibilities of creating this unique cardigan with the wide range of worsted-weight yarns available today. Have fun with the colors, make it fun and funky! Please note, yardage may differ. We recommend Premier Anti-Pilling Everyday Worsted for this project! Materials List All Sizes: MC (8 oz.), CC1 Med Brown (2 oz), CC2 Owl Head/Lt Brown (2 oz.), CC3 Owl Face Cream (20 yds), CC4 Stick Dk Brown (10 yds), knitting needles size 5 (3.75 mm) and 8 (5 mm). Fits children's sizes 2-4-6—Intermediate knit. Patterns for other animal cardigans and jackets, Cottontail Cardigan, Racoon Cardigan, and Racoon Fringe sold separately.
Stitch Requirements: Knit, purl, repeat, increase, decrease, slip, stocking stitch, fair isle knitting, colored pattern knitting.
