The Premier Anti Pilling DK is my absolute favorite acrylic yarn. I have texture issues and this is the only acrylic yarn that ive been able to use on a large project. It supper soft and silky to work with and glides over my fingers as I’m crocheting. It’s also a great quality yarn that will last for years to come. I can’t wait to try the new super fine addition to the Anti Pilling family as I live in Florida so like blankets and sweaters to be in the lighter side.

I have crocheted six of MJs sweaters in the last 3 years but this is my first kit and first time using MJs yarn. Mary Maxim makes the process very easy by offering kits - they arrive in a clear reusable zipper bag with heavy printed patterns making it easy to start crocheting.
The only thing I have to say is greatness. I got 3 boxes of the same yarn, but a little bit of a difference in each one. If you buy more than 2 maybe make the boyarn different. I love them really addicting.

The starting Instructions were incorrect. I suggest following the graft. I have not completed the boarder yet so I can’t say how the instructions are for that part. I do like the pattern, I have about a quarter done.
The yarn's so bad that it splits in every stitch! Also I didn't think to check my work and when I finished it I couldn't see the tree! The yarn just hide the holes! I don't know if I'll have time to rip it out and do it again before Christmas. I have lots of other things I need to get done. Very disapointed!

These instructions are straight forward and easy to understand. I love the way this came together. I'm going to use the pattern to make this afghan again as a gift. We can use it as a throw and also talked about adding loops and creating a lovely wall hanging
This is a beautiful pattern, however I cannot seem to make it work right after 3rd row. Are the instructions the same for a south paw crocheter?
This pattern is a bit vague in that the image does not jump out at you. You need to look close to see the words. I think it would be better to change yarn and make it contrast. Also the pattern of the tree was tedious to follow.
I haven't made it yet but with the other 3 (let there be peace, A child is born and He is risen) I just don't think I will have any problems with it either
I was expecting written instructions but received a graph pattern. It was a challenge but I completed the throw successfully. Ended up with one and a half skeins of yarn left over. Should have chosen lighter yarn. Pattern would have shown up better. Still happy with final result.

Had a hard time starting this throw. It took me a while but I finally figured it out. The rest was easy. Did it in the deep red. Hard to see the pattern. Will have to put something light underneath it. Would definitely make it again in a different colour. Love ordering from Mary Maxim.

Loved working with the kit
Quite easy to follow the pattern, only need 3 basic stitches to complete. I used yarn "Rich Red" and is a lovely colour. However, I need something light underneath the blanket to show off the pattern. Maybe I'll try it in white next time since my furniture is quite dark. Very pleased with the end result!

A gave this a 5 rating because it looks like it will be beautiful when finished. I bought it to give to my sister for this coming Christmas 2020. I know she's going to love it as she has wanted it for the last few years.
I was so disappointed that the instructions only came as a graph. I was unable to follow the graph. It was so small I had trouble seeing it and the instructions made no sense to me. I have been crocheting for over 50 years and really loved the throw and hated sending it back.

I made this throw with the intention of giving it as a gift, but with the easy instructions, lovely yarn, and beautiful pattern, I decided to keep it for myself. I will use the pattern to make another in a different color.
