I just finished this kit and it turned out great. My wife wanted me to rearrange the order, the scarecrows are in and it was not a problem.

I was sent a 'corrected' pattern so I skipped ahead in my project schedule to try this one out. After comparing the two written patterns with the video tutorial, it seems the right number of chains to start with would likely be 196, as described in the video. When I started with 196 chains and followed the original given pattern, the braids and twists began to take visible shape within a few rows, and stayed consistent after that. So, overall, I found the video tutorial more helpful than the corrected pattern and, once I got past the foundational rows, the braids began to take shape quite smoothly to form a lovely textured blanket. :)

I received a big ball of Earth Ombre with 2 smaller balls of a gorgeous deep pine green in one bag and a big ball of Jewels Ombre with 2 balls of that same green for the other bag. I am thrilled! Im very glad to have this gorgeous green right here before Christmas crafting season!!!
