Mosaic Blanket

A pattern illustration would be very helpful.

The colors are gorgeous. The pattern is engaging. Nothing boring about it, from start to finish.

I'm on only row 7 of 100. I've already found two pattern mistakes. It's a struggle when you have trust in a pattern and it doesn't work out. I shall persevere.

This is a great kit! Love the yarn. Disappointed the pattern did not include a graft. Directions are written row by row.

THE PATTERN WAS EASY TO FOLLOW

Reasonably easy. Stitches are neat and and instructions easy to follow. Very pretty and pleasant to crochet.

This was my 1st time doing a mosaic style blanket, it was very easy once I got the hang of it. Although the picture and the colours you actually receive look very different (dark grey instead of navy blue and the light grey seems darker than the picture), it is still a great looking blanket. The dark grey really makes the teal and white stand out, I love it! I really enjoyed making this, I may order some more of the same yarn and make another using different colours. As it’s all single and double crochet, it’s fairly quick to make one. I was also surprised at how nice the MM value yarn is.

I purchased the kit to make a blanket for my father in law. At first, I was worried I would run out of yarn after the first 1/3, so I ordered extra and I don’t think I’ll need to use any of it. The pattern is a little tedious as it’s only sc and dc’s, but enough variation in counts to keep me engaged for a bit. Works up very thick and cozy. The photos online show much more of a contrast between the greys (and looks more blue than grey online).

This is a beautiful blanket. I am very pleased with my purchase. The pattern is easy to follow. I am half way done, and I'm excited to see it finished. I am enjoying crocheting this blanket. I had a bit of a rough start. The rows were just not working out and i had to start again a couple of times. After carefully reading and reviewing the pattern, i realized where i went wrong and have been able to follow the pattern with no trouble at all.
I do agree with other reviewers who mention that the colours are much more grey than blue like the picture. But I still love it, and the colours too!

1. Surprised main color gray when picture on site shows blue. 2. In between beginner - intermediate skill and am stumped on row 4, it makes no sense. Need an video tutorial for that one row or better explanation. Ticked that I have to shelve project cause can’t go further. Have spent hours trying to decipher and no luck.

Yarn came quickly and am excited to start crochetting my first mosaic blanket but where is the pattern

The color gray should be blue. Instructions are very clear but after row 9 the stitches did not come out right. I've been crocheting for 60 years and never had so much trouble with a pattern. Opened it three times, nothing is working out even.

Enjoying making this pattern so far. Haven't completed this project yet but I can tell it will be a beautiful blanket. Really like the Mary Maxim Value yarn. Was a little surprised that the main colour us dark grey, not navy like the picture shows. Four colours included are dark grey, light grey, light teal and white

Received the kit today and can't wait to get started. Love the colors. This will be my second mosaic blanket. One color was backordered and was shipped earlier than expected.

I don't have the kit yet, but when I saw the picture on the cover of the catalogue I just Had to order it. I'm really looking forward to working on it. I haven't crocheted in 2 years so it could be a challenge but I'm up for it.

I was attracted to this blanket because of the colours, and found it was easy to follow the directions and worked up beautifully

I just received the blanket kit, colors are gorgeous, looking forward to making it. When reading the instructions prior to starting, it is not a true mosaic crochet pattern. Extremely dissappointed in regards to that aspect! However, now that i have the kit i will make it, buyer beware, it is not a tru mosaic crochet pattern.
