Knit it in worsted-weight yarn to achieve a lightweight, comfortable fit that's perfect for any occasion. The original yarn used was Mary Maxim's Knitting Worsted, providing approximately 240 yards on a 4 oz skein at the time. But now, with a wide variety of worsted yarns to choose from, you can customize this project to suit his style. Keep in mind that yardage may differ. We recommend Mary Maxim Starlette, our time-tested, best-selling worsted! Materials List: Mary Maxim Knitting Worsted Sm (22 oz), Med (24 oz), Lg (26 oz) and knitting needles size U.S. 3 (3.25 mm), 4 (3.50 mm), 8" double points size 3 (3.25 mm) to begin!
