Bring a touch of retro charm to your wardrobe with this beloved cardigan pattern! A true classic that's been warming hearts for over five decades, this straightforward design is perfect for knitters. Crafted in cozy bulky-weight yarn, it's the ideal canvas for your creativity—or wear it as-is for timeless elegance. Looking for something with a bit more pizzazz? We've got plenty of patterned versions too! This was designed using Mary Maxim Bulky Bolero yarn that provided 70 yds per 2 oz skein at the time. Discover all the many popular brands of bulky yarns we carry. Just remember, yardages will vary. For sizes 38-40 (30 oz), Sz 42-44 (32 oz) is needed. You'll also need knitting needles size 7 (4.50 mm) and 10.5 ()6.50 mm). Fits sizes 38-40-42-44—Intermediate knit.
Stitch Requirements: Cast on, cast off, knit, purl, repeat, increase, decrease, stockinette stitch.
