Crafted in cozy bulky-weight yarn, it's the ideal canvas for your creativity—or wear it as-is for timeless elegance. Looking for something with a bit more pizzazz? We've got plenty of patterned versions too! This was designed using Mary Maxim Bulky Bolero yarn that provided 70 yds per 2 oz skein at the time. Discover all the many popular brands of bulky yarns we carry. Just remember, yardages will vary. For sizes 38-40 (30 oz), Sz 42-44 (32 oz) is needed. You'll also need knitting needles size 7 (4.50 mm) and 10.5 ()6.50 mm). Fits sizes 38-40-42-44—Intermediate knit.
Stitch Requirements: Cast on, cast off, knit, purl, repeat, increase, decrease, stockinette stitch.

I absolutely loved making this Afghan. It was a wedding gift. The instructions were clear and there were very few missed steps on my part. It actually went pretty quickly.. The finished product was beautiful and looked just like the picture. The yarn was a joy to work with. The cream with flex was a beautiful color. I highly recommend this kit.

It turned out beautifully
The pattern itself has been a really interesting challenge, as my first colorwork piece. It's just the right amount of challenge without being overwhelming. The kit is great, it had just enough yarn for everything, and some leftover for my first few mistakes! It didn't come with any closure (buttons/zipper), but I'm actually glad for that, as I'm quite picky with that sort of thing and am happy to find my own.
Overall, I'm very glad to have purchased and knitted the whole thing! Definitely recommend, and I was thrilled to be able to support a MI brand.
