Craft this jacket using our timeless vintage pattern. This striped sweater makes an excellent choice for the special man in your life. Select the ideal color combination to complement any ensemble perfectly. Designed originally using Mary Maxim Artik bulky weight yarns that provided 130 yds per 3 oz skein at the time. Discover our entire selection of bulky yarns for this project. Keep in mind, yardages vary. We recommend Premier Basix with 117 yds/3.5 oz ball. Materials List: Sz 38-40 MC (8 skeins). Sz 42-44 (9 skeins). All sizes CC1 (1 skein), CC2 (2 skeins), CC3 (1 skein), and knitting needles size U.S. 9 (5.50 mm). Fits sizes 38-40-42-44—Intermediate knit. Cardigan #PDL4130 is available separately.
Stitch Requirements: Knit, purl, repeat, increase, decrease, cast on, cast off, stockinette stitch, repeat.

Love this! The only yarn I use for amigurumi now! It does have a tendency to pill at the ends, but it makes for a great, soft end product, so it is worth it by me despite the difficulty to sew things in.

I live in Scotland, in a village 10 minutes away from where the designer lives, but chose to make my purchase from Mary Maxim as I've seen the results of so many makes in Prism and love them. The kit comes in a strong clear storage bag, which is similar in size to the ones I use to protect my stash from cat hair, so it's easily stored with the others. The colours and textures of the yarns are gorgeous. The pattern is well written and easy to follow, even for a visual learner, like me. This is a wee Christmas gift to myself, but I've got a feeling that once it's completed, it'll find itself in my son's room! I can't wait to get started. We need a Mary Maxim outlet on this side of the pond.

I ordered a few kits and this is the first one I started. I would prefer if it came with single segments of yarn so I didn't have to keep rethreading the needle but I learned to tape the end of the yarn to simplify rethreading and that definitely sped things up.
