Our 3rd Place Contest Winner designed by Esther Morgan. Intricate cables and playful bobbles give this afghan a touch of style. Kit includes Caron One Pound yarn and pattern. Requires 36" circ. needles size 10.5. Size 34 x 52". Intermediate Crochet.
Stitch Requirements: Knit, purl, place marker, slip, decrease, increase, stocking stitch, through back loop, cable stitches.

I have been looking at this pattern and not sure if I will be doing this one. If I do it will be to donate. Not my style. Otherwise it is a nice pattern.

Despite being written for USA, it was easy to find out what wool weight would knit up to the right size. I can see it is a ‘vintage aged’ pattern, but with the interest in Basketball today, it is perfect for a keen basketball fan!
Having a graph to follow which can be coloured in (by the child who it is for) with his choice of team colours was an additional fun activity. He can’t wait for me to finish it. A truly unique cardigan. Thank you!
