They'll feel like a star while marching in it! Designed using Mary Maxim Dreamspun yarn, a 4-ply fingering weight yarn (#2 Light) which provided 75 yds per 1 oz skein at the time. You'll find the same #2 weight yarn with our Mary Maxim Baby's Best. Materials List: All sizes: Main color (9 balls), CC1 Dress, CC2 Legs and Face, CC3 Hat and Boots, CC4 Hair (1 ball each color), and knitting needles size U.S. 2 (2.75 mm), and 3 (3.25 mm). Pattern PDL608 Rodeo cardigan pattern available separately. Fits sizes 8-10-12—Intermediate knit.

Love this! The only yarn I use for amigurumi now! It does have a tendency to pill at the ends, but it makes for a great, soft end product, so it is worth it by me despite the difficulty to sew things in.

I live in Scotland, in a village 10 minutes away from where the designer lives, but chose to make my purchase from Mary Maxim as I've seen the results of so many makes in Prism and love them. The kit comes in a strong clear storage bag, which is similar in size to the ones I use to protect my stash from cat hair, so it's easily stored with the others. The colours and textures of the yarns are gorgeous. The pattern is well written and easy to follow, even for a visual learner, like me. This is a wee Christmas gift to myself, but I've got a feeling that once it's completed, it'll find itself in my son's room! I can't wait to get started. We need a Mary Maxim outlet on this side of the pond.

I ordered a few kits and this is the first one I started. I would prefer if it came with single segments of yarn so I didn't have to keep rethreading the needle but I learned to tape the end of the yarn to simplify rethreading and that definitely sped things up.
