Create your own stunning Lone Wolf afghan with this graph-style pattern, designed originally with the versatile Mary Maxim Starlette (190 yds/100 gm ball) worsted weight yarn. Keep in mind yardage and colors have changed. We have a wide assortment of worsted weight yarns available today, to recreate the Lone Wolf afghan for your home decor. There are 22 skeins total and yardage pieces needed. Requires crochet hook size U.S. H-8 (5 mm). Approx. 62 48" (157.5 x122 cm) when completed. Intermediate crochet. Lone Wolf rug pattern sold separately.

I had a great experience with Mary Maxim customer service. One of the yarns in my recent order was splitting quite a bit while I was working with it. I honestly thought it might just be one of those chances you take with yarn, but I called to ask about it.

First time ordering a surprise color and I was pleasantly surprised with the color. I made myself a fun sun hat for the beach. It’s floppy so my next one will use some wire for the edge but I still think it’s cute
Good products at a good price
I’m still pretty new to using cotton yarn, and I really love the speckled colors in Premier Cotton. The little pops of color are so cute in finished projects and make even simple patterns look extra fun. It’s easy to work with, has nice stitch definition, and works great for the hats, dishcloths, and other cotton projects I’ve been making. I’ll definitely keep buying the speckles!

It has nice stitch definition, holds its shape well, and is still soft and easy to work with. I’ve even had to pull out and redo a few sections, and the yarn has held up great. Definitely a cotton yarn I’ll keep using!

I think the pattern may have been updated since I purchased it. The colors look different now in the picture. I printed it off on four different pages and taped them together. It was black and white with symbols representing the colors. I used a highlighter to mark off what I had done. It was definitely a challenge but the end result was so worth it!!
Love these kits, challenging, but fun. Although just the patterns are kind of had the read, must be the older style of pattern, newer ones are easier to read.

I absolutely love Mary maxim patterns they’re easy to follow and they come out beautiful I give them away as gifts and everyone I give them to just absolutely loves them..
I have had such difficulty with the wolves pattern that I have been afraid to start this the loan wolf. But looking at the printed pattern, I doubt I will even try it. The four little graphs look horrible
