Created for the Mary Maxim Knit Club in 2014, this pattern features A Step Above, a top-rated super fine sock yarn in a lovely variegated shade. Materials List: 2 skeins, and knitting needles size U.S. 1 (2.25)—Intermediate knit. Finished size 13 x 64" (33 x 152 cm).
Stitch Requirements: Cast on, cast off, knit, purl, repeat, slip, through back loop.

I've been using this sock yarn for years now and my son's girlfriend has been buying the socks from me to give to her friends. Everyone loves them! All the money I raise goes to a local charity that helps people who are homeless or need help. I am also giving a pair to each of the nurses who give me my monthly infusions. I was worried when there were only a few colors left so I went on a buying spree and I think I have enough yarn to last for a few years. I'm glad to see many of the favorite colors are back in stock, so I may have to snatch up some more when free shipping comes around again! (A suggestion to people who run out of yarn when making a pair: I use a solid color yarn for the toes and those socks are very popular)
