The original design, featured in a 1960 catalog, used Mary Maxim Mellowspun yarn, offering 420 yards per 4-oz skein. Discover Mary Maxim Mellowspun and a wide selection of modern sport-weight yarns to bring this elegant project to life. Materials List: 6 oz sport weight yarn, and U.S. size 11 (8 mm) knitting needles. Finished size 60" (152 cm). Easy knit.
Stitch Requirements: Knit, purl, stockinette stitch, increase, decrease, repeat, slip stitch, through the back loop, place marker.

I bought this wallet along with a purse (not a matching set) and am very satisfied with both. I don't know who made them, but they were made by someone very talented and with a knowledge regarding what women want and need in a wallet and purse. For me, it's sections and compartments along with being light-weight.
The construction of this purse is excellent. The hardware used is of very good quality. The size is almost perfect. I would have preferred it to be a little wider and not quite as deep. But my rating for this purse is for it's excellence in construction, not my personal preferences.
