I had a great experience with Mary Maxim customer service. One of the yarns in my recent order was splitting quite a bit while I was working with it. I honestly thought it might just be one of those chances you take with yarn, but I called to ask about it.
The customer service representative was so nice and told me the yarn should not be separating like that. They sent me a replacement without making the process difficult at all. I was really pleased with how helpful, friendly, and easy they were to work with. Great customer service makes such a difference, and I really appreciated it!
First time ordering a surprise color and I was pleasantly surprised with the color. I made myself a fun sun hat for the beach. It’s floppy so my next one will use some wire for the edge but I still think it’s cute
Good products at a good price
I’m still pretty new to using cotton yarn, and I really love the speckled colors in Premier Cotton. The little pops of color are so cute in finished projects and make even simple patterns look extra fun. It’s easy to work with, has nice stitch definition, and works great for the hats, dishcloths, and other cotton projects I’ve been making. I’ll definitely keep buying the speckles!
I’m pretty new to using cotton yarn, and Premier Cotton has been really easy to learn with. I’ve used it for sun hats and am now trying dishcloths and other patterns. It has nice stitch definition, holds its shape well, and is still soft and easy to work with. I’ve even had to pull out and redo a few sections, and the yarn has held up great. Definitely a cotton yarn I’ll keep using!

When I ordered the blue and white kit, I ordered the equivalent yarn in red and heather grey. The pattern was really easy to follow, and then I branched out and improvised a Canadiana sweater and toque. My two grandkids were pleased!
The Kit came with the colors of yarn needed to work the pattern so it will fit nicely on the doll required in the instructions.

This made up so fast and I love having more doll clothes for my Granddaughters and Great Granddaughters to play with
I think the yarn is too heavy, and the instructions make the garment much too large. I have the right tension, but that doesn't even matter, when the measurements are in inches. The sleeves have to be turned up 1-1/4 inches, and spoils the effect. Also, I don't think the pattern needs to be so fancy for a doll.
