Lovely textured shawl finished with a beautiful lace border. The soft texture and added sparkle from Caron's Simply Soft Party yarn, adds a touch of timeless sophistication. Kit includes Caron Simply Soft Party yarn and pattern. Finished Size 50 x 22.5" (127 x 57 cm). Requires Crochet Hook J-10 (6 mm), Single Point Needles 9 (5.5 mm) and Stitch Markers.
Stitch Requirements: Knit, purl, stocking stitch, decrease, increase, repeat, slip, through the back loop, chain, double crochet, place marker, knitwise, garter stitch.

I love this yarn. The colors are beautiful and the yarn is very soft. It is a roving yarn, and goes from a #4 to a #2, but I think that adds character. I love working with roving yarn. I am making a shawl right now, and the colors are gorgeous! I have bought 4 different colors, and will be making a blanket with one of them.

I have been using this pattern since I first found it some 25 years ago. I have donated these blankets to organizations and to individuals going through treatment. It is such an easy patter I have also done it and many other colors for other cancer patients.

I have not yet started on this blanket. I love Mary Maxim kits though and have had no issues with any I have made. I had to wait for this one to come off backorder so I am looking forward to making it.
