Designed by MJ's Off The Hook. This beginner friendly cardigan is seamless and worked from the top down. Kit includes Mary Maxim Prism yarn and pattern. Requires crochet hooks size 7 and H-8. Intermediate Crochet.
Stitch Requirements: Back loop only, chain, double crochet, single crochet, skip, slip stitch, V-stitch, cluster, decrease granny cluster.

So pleasantly surprised. I couldn't tell from the photo how textured the stitches were going to be ... but I loved it. Learned the stitches following the pattern and worked up the first block in two evenings.
Love this yarn
This yarn has it all. So soft, great drape for a chunky yarn, a joy to work with, and the flecks of color hold my interest. The claret is a deep red, a wine red, and I had to buy up more as well as other colors! I went through a test of stitches that worked best and I found the moss stitch was the best for a simple mindless repeat for a throw project. Wonderful yarn. I can honestly say I bought up enough to last me awhile.
I cannot wait to start this project. So fun and exciting! I love that Mary Maxim is still in business...such good memories from when I was a brand new knitter, who was taught by my great grandma.
Really like the look of the hat sand matching scarf. The yarn colors it what drew me in.

I am a complete newbie. Never knew how to knit but I practiced and learnt all the required techniques before I worked with my actual yarn. The multi coloured intarsia is quite hard for beginners so I would recommend using only 2 colours for intarsia and duplicate stitch the remaining colours and details. Completed the prohject in 1.5 months and while it definitely doesn't look as good as an experienced knitter since I've made a lot of mistakes on the intarsia parts, I am very proud of my cardigan :> Amaze amaze amaze!

This sweater is stunning.
I crocheted this for a friend for Christmas. I used the colorway Iris. The yarn is so soft to work with. Watching the color change was so awesome. The pattern was well written and it came with a video tutorial. I would recommend this to anyone.
The pattern is impossible to follow. I had to follow the tutorial, which has some problems. My pattern doesn't look exactly like her pattern. Now for the yarn problem, I know I will not have enough yarn to do the collar. I am not sure if I will have enough to finish the sleeve cuff!

Still working on the pattern, but the yarn is beautiful! Excellent quality. I had to restart because I miscounted my stitches from the beginning. Rookie mistake, but I'm getting older and I had a "senior moment"! This pattern is printed on nice thick glossy paper, so it will be around for a while.

I have bought two of Michelle’s patters and crocheted three sweaters with them. The yarn from Mary Maxim was better than the yarn I bought from another site. I loved how the colors changed and how they look in the sweater. I will be buying more patterns from Michelle and more yarn from Mary Maxim!

This delicate yarn is beautiful but terrible if you need to rip out and redo any part of your pattern. Some of the yarn was frayed and inconsistent thickness. I would never buy this yarn again. LOVE MJOffthehook designs though!!

This pattern was easy to follow and comes in all sizes. The cardigan works up quickly and I've made two already.

Enjoyed making this cardigan. I love this designer and the Mary Maxim Prism yarn. Great use of the yarn. Yarn can be a little challenging if you have to make a correction as yarn can slightly tangle as you remove stitches. Otherwise, project was fun to complete in a timely manner!!
The Prism yarn, while very beautiful, was very difficult to work with. I’ll never use it again.
The sweater grows as I wear it and seems too large by end of day.
