The original yarn used was Mary Maxim's Knitting Worsted, providing approximately 260 yards on a 4 oz skein at the time. Explore our vast collection of worsted yarns in a variety of the latest shades! We suggest our top-selling, customer favorites, Mary Maxim Starlette, Mary Maxim Aran Irish Twist or Tweed. Keep in mind that yardage may differ. Requires needle size 6 (4 mm) and 5 buttons. Fits sizes 4 and 6—Intermediate knit.

I Love this yarn. It works up so easily. I do suggest making cakes out of the skeins, if it tangles it’s hard to untangle. The key I found to that problem is to NEVER pull the yarn tight while your untangling it and use a crochet needle, it makes it easy to separate. Every item I make from this yarn just makes me buy more and everyone that sees it asks me what it is or for me to make them something.
