Create a cozy Aran Afghan using our classic vintage crochet pattern. This design features a mix of stitches that produce a beautifully textured and warm afghan, perfect for adding timeless charm to your home. Designed using Mary Maxim Mellowspun which provided 420 yds per 4 oz skein at that time. Discover a wonderful selection of sport-weight yarns, including Mary Maxim Mellowspun, to make this project your own. Keep in mind, yardages will vary. Materials List: 40 oz, and U.S. crochet hook size K/10.5 (6.50 mm). Finished size approx. 48 x 68"—Intermediate crochet. Matching Aran pillow pattern sold separately.
Stitch Requirements: Chain, single crochet, double crochet, increase. repeat, cluster stitch, raised double crochet, popcorn, double raised double crochet.
