Whether on land or at sea, he'll be looking his absolute best while staying warm on those chilly days. With a flat shawl collar and options for raglan or set-in sleeves, as well as button or zipper front, this pattern has everything you need to make a stylish and versatile piece for any sportsman. Initially created with Mary Maxim Northland or Cloudspun, a bulky weight that offered 80 yards per skein. Today, we offer some wonderful varieties to choose from in bulky-weight yarns. Just keep in mind, yardage may vary. Materials List: MC Sz 38-40 (44 oz.), Sz 42-44 (48 oz). CC1, CC2 (4 oz each color). This project also requires knitting needles sizes U.S. 7 (4.5 mm) and 10 (6 mm). Fits sizes 38-40-42-44—Intermediate knit.
Stitch Requirements: Cast on, cast off, knit, purl, repeat, increase, decrease, stocking stitch, color changes using fair isle knitting or colored pattern knitting methods.
