Adorable set to knit for your indoor fall home decor or your favorite Gnome collector! Kit includes Mary Maxim Starlette yarn and roving yarn to make set of 3 gnomes and assorted fall items. Requires Double Point Needles Size 6 (4.0 mm), Single Point Needles Size 6 (4.0 mm) and polyfill sold here. Size 9" tall.
Stitch Requirements: Knit, purl, decrease, increase, repeat, slip, stocking stitch, decrease, place marker, yarn forward, yarn back.

I’m making a marled throw for my g-grandson holding two strands Premier Colorfusion DK yarn. I’m using a yarn strand from each end of the skein to develop the marled design. The throw in the Blue Jean color is turning out perfect for a 12yr old boy. I’ve added stripes of different colors every 12 rows throughout the throw.
The Premier Colorfusion Dk yarn is soft & nice to work with. I recommend this yarn.

These were fun to make
These gnomes are really cute and easy to make for an intermediate knitter. if you are a beginner you will learn how to increase, knit with two colors, and add new yarn. Some of the techniques, like how to add new yarn, aren't included in the instructions, which would have been nice. You will need to find that information separate from them. The yarn is good quality and easy to work with.
I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 since it would be smart to have some sort of indication of what special techniques need to be known, like adding yarn or two string knitting for adding color to the hats.
The yarn is soft and easy to work with. I do find some splitting at times.

I'm not experienced at knitting 2 colors. Also, decreasing. The kit is very cute but with a more experienced knitter.
I like the idea of being able to complete a whole item in an evening, or maybe a couple items in the case of the accessories. It is instant gratification after working on my basement remodeling project which is not going so fast! The only reason I did not give it a 5 star is because I cannot for the life of me figure out why the pattern is set up to knit flat and seam rather than knit in the round. I read through it and not finding any reason, I have knit everything in the round. Much easier to finish and no visible seams. Only thing you have to pay attention to is purling when the pattern calls for a ridge.
