I had a great experience with Mary Maxim customer service. One of the yarns in my recent order was splitting quite a bit while I was working with it. I honestly thought it might just be one of those chances you take with yarn, but I called to ask about it.

First time ordering a surprise color and I was pleasantly surprised with the color. I made myself a fun sun hat for the beach. It’s floppy so my next one will use some wire for the edge but I still think it’s cute
Good products at a good price
I’m still pretty new to using cotton yarn, and I really love the speckled colors in Premier Cotton. The little pops of color are so cute in finished projects and make even simple patterns look extra fun. It’s easy to work with, has nice stitch definition, and works great for the hats, dishcloths, and other cotton projects I’ve been making. I’ll definitely keep buying the speckles!

Definitely for Intermediate level, but directions are clear to follow and understand. I varied mine from original directions, but love that it allows great results anyway. I purchased a 6" circle, then used an extra large (18"x22") sheet of Stuff Plastic Canvas fir the sides and handle. Instead of sewing the eggs, I used glittered foam for making the eggs. You'll need 18" long strip by 3" high for the sides and I decided to use 2 layers of 22" by 2" wide for the handle. I used hit glue to attach the eggs. I sewed the handle to the sides. As an added touch, I sewed green metallic Rick rack trim on the handle BEFORE attaching the handle. I gave this a 4* because the overall pattern was far above my skill level, but simple enough to enable me to learn and adjust to fit my needs I also made matching napkin rings and glued mini glitter eggs to each. I've attached close-up views of my basket inside, outside, and I glued a 6" piece of green felt on the bottom with my personal label.
