I love to crochet, I love hummingbirds. What could be better. I have not tried mosaic crochet with color changes in the rows. For me this is a new challenge. I do have to say that although I have not completed this project, I have found that there is a mistake in the written pattern in row 25. (I'm not sure if this issue has been addressed yet. I did buy this kit approximately 3 years ago)
In row 25, the written pattern states fldc below in next 39 st, that part should be fldc in next 42 st.
I'm not sure if there are any other errors but in any case, I am thrilled with the afghan kit and enjoying the new technique.

I followed the pattern for one...it is a lot of work. Since I sell them & can’t charge for all that labor, I cut out all the pieces, sewed them together & added lace & it’s turned out great! Remember when cutting out the pieces to either count the bars or spaces, don’t lay them on the pattern & cut...that is not the right size. After I cut the correct size, I laid pieces on freezer paper & traced, makes it easier for the next one you make.
I haven't made this yet, but the instructions and they seem very well written.

I haven't had time to make this item yet, but I plan on making it in the future. My cat is almost 18 1/2 years old and has kidney disease, so I spend most of my time taking care of her.
