Crochet this afghan using our vintage pattern. You can create an afghan that will keep you warm. Originally made using sport-weight yarn, Mary Maxim Mellowspun, which had 420 yards per skein. You will find Mary Maxim Mellowspun and all the current sport-weight yarn selections here. Please note, yardages may have changed. Materials List: MC (14 oz), CC1 (10 oz), CC2 (6 oz), CC3 (4 oz), and crochet hook size I/9 (5.50 mm). Finished size 48 x 68" (122 x 173 cm)—Intermediate crochet.
Stitch Requirements: Chain, single crochet, double crochet, half double crochet, treble crochet, decrease, increase, repat, slip stitch, through the back loop, work as set.
