First time ordering a surprise color and I was pleasantly surprised with the color. I made myself a fun sun hat for the beach. It’s floppy so my next one will use some wire for the edge but I still think it’s cute
Good products at a good price
I’m still pretty new to using cotton yarn, and I really love the speckled colors in Premier Cotton. The little pops of color are so cute in finished projects and make even simple patterns look extra fun. It’s easy to work with, has nice stitch definition, and works great for the hats, dishcloths, and other cotton projects I’ve been making. I’ll definitely keep buying the speckles!

Pattern was clear enough, but I ended up using duplicate stitch to add most of the tree decorations. It was just too cumbersome to knit in all the colour changes.

I had this pattern years ago and knit several stockings using it. Then a friend who had three married children but no grandchildren asked me to knit three Christmas stockings as a hint for grandchildren. The next year she and her husband had three grandchildren. Last year I knit a stocking for their 14th grandchild! And I have orders for four stockings for family members this year. I don't know what I would do without this pattern. I had misplaced it and was grateful I could still get it this year. I decorate the trees with small ornaments and lights available in several stores at Christmas time. Mary Maxim's pattern has made many families very happy with stockings from this pattern...and I love getting pictures of them hung across a mantle.
