This light and airy throw brings a touch of Spring to any room. Kit includes Caron Simply Soft yarn.
The picture of Spring Butterflies is created through the use of double crochet and chain stitches as is traditionally found in filet crochet. One large butterfly is in flight with wings spread wide to catch the wind in the field of flowers below. The gentle purple shade of Caron Simply Soft in Lavender Blue is the perfect color lent to the flowers. While the second smaller, butterfly might land on those beautiful flowers to rest in between flights.

First time ordering a surprise color and I was pleasantly surprised with the color. I made myself a fun sun hat for the beach. It’s floppy so my next one will use some wire for the edge but I still think it’s cute
Good products at a good price
I’m still pretty new to using cotton yarn, and I really love the speckled colors in Premier Cotton. The little pops of color are so cute in finished projects and make even simple patterns look extra fun. It’s easy to work with, has nice stitch definition, and works great for the hats, dishcloths, and other cotton projects I’ve been making. I’ll definitely keep buying the speckles!
I’m pretty new to using cotton yarn, and Premier Cotton has been really easy to learn with. I’ve used it for sun hats and am now trying dishcloths and other patterns. It has nice stitch definition, holds its shape well, and is still soft and easy to work with. I’ve even had to pull out and redo a few sections, and the yarn has held up great. Definitely a cotton yarn I’ll keep using!

This was the first time I ordered to receive by mail. It didn’t take long to arrive. The colour is beautiful. I haven’t started it yet but am looking forward to starting. I love fillet crochet. No where in the description does it state that each block or space on the chart equals two (2) - this is very confusing when working a chart - I probably will never finish it.

I was happy with the pattern. I would have liked more choices for yarn and color.
I was apprehensive upon discovering the directions were in chart form. I’d never crocheted with a chart before. After studying it for awhile I began. I used a stitch marker for each 20 stitch portion, which proved a wise decision. That made it very easy to find mistakes and correct them before proceeding past the following row. I am very pleased with the finished project, and am about to start on a second one. Mine looks exactly like the one above.

... Filet crochet is my favorite pattern, and this one is really nice. That being said, this one does take a great amount of concentration, especially since I chose black yarn. Won't do that again. :D Can't tell you how many rows I've ripped out and redone. Just take it slow. If you're able, make several copies of the pattern for marking progress.

It is really easy to crochet and is very pretty.
My 5 year old niece sleeps with hers every night. It was my first filet crochet so it took a minute to figure it out from regular crochet. Once I got going though, it was easy to whip up. It is exactly as shown in the picture! At marymaxim, you get what you see....
