Crochet a brightly colored cardigan with a sweet little bird on the front for a little girl. Designed using Mary Maxim Mellowspun, a sport weight that offered 174 yds per 1.75 oz skein at the time. We offer a fantastic selection of sport-weight yarns, including Mary Maxim Mellowspun. Yardages do vary. Materials List: MC White, Size 4 (2 skeins), Sz 6 and 8 (3 skeins), and one ball each of blue, brown, pink, and green. Also requires a crochet hook size G/6 and buttons. Pattern includes Sizes 4, 6, and 8 years old—Intermediate crochet
Stitch Requirements: Chain, double crochet, decrease, half double crochet, increase, repeat, single crochet, slip stitch, treble crochet.

I absolutely loved making this Afghan. It was a wedding gift. The instructions were clear and there were very few missed steps on my part. It actually went pretty quickly.. The finished product was beautiful and looked just like the picture. The yarn was a joy to work with. The cream with flex was a beautiful color. I highly recommend this kit.

It turned out beautifully
The pattern itself has been a really interesting challenge, as my first colorwork piece. It's just the right amount of challenge without being overwhelming. The kit is great, it had just enough yarn for everything, and some leftover for my first few mistakes! It didn't come with any closure (buttons/zipper), but I'm actually glad for that, as I'm quite picky with that sort of thing and am happy to find my own.
Overall, I'm very glad to have purchased and knitted the whole thing! Definitely recommend, and I was thrilled to be able to support a MI brand.
