Knit this amazing patriotic afghan using our vintage graph-style pattern. Originally made using sport-weight yarn, Mary Maxim Mellowspun, which had 420 yards per skein. You will find Mary Maxim Mellowspun and all the current sport-weight yarn selections on www.marymaxim.com. Please note that yardages may have changed. Materials List: MC (32 oz), CC1 yellow ( 80 yds), CC2 Dk Yellow (35 yds), CC3 Blue (30 yds), CC4 (Red (20 yds), CC5 Brown (10 yds), CC6 Green (10 yds), 1 hank grey embroidery floss, 13 star appliques, tapestry needle, and a 36" (90 cms) circular knitting needles size U.S. 7 (4.50 mm). Finished size 48 x 68" (122 x 173 cm)—Intermediate knit.
Stitch Requirements: Knit, purl, stockinette stitch, repeat.

I haven't made it yet but I can't wait. I am currently writing out the pattern as my eyesight no longer allows me to follow these patterns by counting the squares.
