Crochet this amazing patriotic afghan using our vintage graph-style pattern. Originally made using sport-weight yarn, Mary Maxim Mellowspun, which had 420 yards per skein. You will find Mary Maxim Mellowspun and all the current sport weight yarn selections on www.marymaxim.com. Please note that yardages may have changed. Materials List: MC (40 oz), CC1 yellow ( 40 yds), CC2 Dk Yellow (25 yds), CC3 Blue (15 yds), CC4 Red (10 yds), CC5 Brown (10 yds), CC6 Green (5 yds), 1 hank grey embroidery floss, 13 star appliques, tapestry needle, and afghan hook size K/10.5 (6.50 mm). Finished size 48 x 68" (122 x 173 cm)—Intermediate knit.
Stitch Requirements: Chain, afghan stitch, and embroidery stitches.
