Crochet this cozy blanket using this downloadable pattern. Requires U.S. size G-6 (4 mm ) crochet hook and Mary Maxim DK or Sport Weight yarn (the original design called for Baby's Best yarn - 160 yds/skein). Keep in mind yardage has changed. Materials List: MC White (7 skeins), CC Green (6 skeins), CC Blue, Lilac, Yellow, Pink (1 skein each), CC Tan (4 skeins), Black (35 yds), and crochet hook size G/6 (4 mm). Finished measurements approximately 31 x 44" (78.5 x 111.5 cm).
Stitch Requirements: Chain, single crochet, double crochet, triple crochet, slip, decrease.

I made this for my first Grand baby. It turned out so cute. It was a pretty easy pattern to follow. If you dont like sewing, you may not enjoy doing this pattern. Lots of pcs to assemble and then stitch to the blanket

There are really no clear directions how to put this afghan together and the pictures are not helpful. The directions for the star are still a mystery to me. I will try the star again today. I would not purchase this pattern until they update the directions.

Instructions are very clear and easy to understand. The blanket turns out so cute. I used worsted weight yarn and the afghan is much larger than if I used sport weight yarn.

I bought and downloaded the bear blanket pattern. Very good price, BUT no matter how I printed it off the words were cut off the left side of the page. I had to use my computer to make the blanket because the printed pattern instructions couldn't be read on the left side.
I bought this pattern in 2014 and am just now making this blanket for my 1st great grandchild. I really paid attention to the size if the window panels to make sure they fit correctly. I did change the bear paws instead of all those circles I made 5 complete paws with a pattern I found online. I am putting a backing on this because of all the threads from sewing everything on.
