Great customer service! I bought the newer Fox Cardigan Kit. When I received the kit one of the skeins of yarn was not the same brand as all others in the kit. I contacted Mary Maxim customer service and alerted them to the problem. They responded quickly and replaced the incorrect skein with one of the matching brand and color free of charge!
It came together quickly. The hanger was small and made me worry it wouldn’t hold up the whole project up. It needed a little more support over all. But really is cute.
Very soft and a beautiful color. Will be using this with other yarn to make a blanket for a wheelchair.

The pattern was straightforward and easy to follow, and the resulting blanket is warm, cozy, and looks and drapes just like the picture. The texture, thickness, and colors of the yarn are all nice to work with, but the yarn does have little bits and hairs that aren't fully twisted in and these do shed while working the project. Overall, despite the lint, this is a fun kit, an eye-catching pattern, and a very nice blanket!
I like the project. Finding the yarn to pull from the center is hard to find. I will keep working on this and finish. Just a suggestion, make it easier to start.

Have not statred the afgan kit yet. I have made a gauge swatch with the yarn. love the mini bean stitch. the yarn does shed but the colors are great. I am substituting the blue color with thistle. goes better with my decor.
One of the easiest but softest and trendy afghans I’ve made to date. Although the wool sheds a bit, I was surprised how nice the alpaca yarn was to crochet. I will definitely be using it again!

This yarn is a little hard to work with and the stitch is small so it’s a slow process BUT it’s coming together nicely Its almost a third done and the granddaughter I’m making it for is keeping track of the progress ! The colors are so lovely . I didn’t care for the mini bean stitch but as I see the overall pattern coming to life, it’s really attractive.
I’m very happy I made this purchase.
