Description
Crochet an amazing, and colorful afghan using our vintage pattern. Make 6 motifs in 4 contrasting colors, and stitch together, then crochet a pretty border for a polished look. Designed using Mary Maxim Twinkle, a light sport-weight yarn that offered 175 yds per 1 oz skein at the time. With this pattern, if you use standard #3 sport yarn, the finished measurements will be approx. 36 x 48" (91.5 x 122 cm). If you use Twinkle a #2 light sport, the finished work will measure approx. 32 x 42" (81 x 107 cm). Please note, yardages have changed. Materials List: Twinkle White (5 skeins), Lt Pink, Yellow, Mint, Lavender (2 skeins ea), and a crochet hook size U.S. E/4 (3.50 mm). The perfect project to make ahead of time for upcoming baby showers and gifts! Intermediate crochet.
Stitch Requirements: Chain, single crochet, double crochet, half double crochet, treble crochet, increase, decrease, repeat, slip stitch, through the back loop.
