Create a fun Apple Vest using this classic vintage pattern, perfect for teachers or fun gifting! Originally designed with Mary Maxim Mellowspun yarn, which provided 420 yards per 4 oz skein, at the time. You can now explore our range of sport weight yarns, including Mellowspun—just note variations in yardage. Required materials include MC (8 oz), CC White (140 yds), CC Red (10 yds), CC Black (2 yds), and knitting needles U.S. sizes 3 (3.25 mm) and 6 (4.25 mm). This intermediate-level pattern fits sizes 32 to 44, offering a flattering, versatile fit.
Stitch Requirements: Knit, purl, repeat, increase, decrease, stockinette stitch, cast on, cast off.
