Description
Knit a stunning tunic with our exclusive pattern. Note: Sweater is designed to hang looser around the bottom and will not be as form fitting as shown. For photography purposes, the sweater was pinned to mannequin in order to show lace details. Designed for the Mary Maxim Knit Club in 2014, using Mary Maxim Season's DK Sport-weight yarn that provided 535 yds per 3.53 oz skein at the time. This beautiful yarn was 90% acrylic and 10% goat-mohair. Discover the sport-weight yarns we offer in today's modern colors, hues, and textures. Keep in mind yardages will vary. Materials List: 2 skeins DK yarn, and knitting needles sizes 36" (90 cm) circular needle size 10 (6 mm), and 16" (40 cm) circular needle size 10 (6 mm).
Stitch Requirements: cast on, cast off, repeat, knit, purl, increase, decrease, place marker.

Love this! The only yarn I use for amigurumi now! It does have a tendency to pill at the ends, but it makes for a great, soft end product, so it is worth it by me despite the difficulty to sew things in.
I love the colors and made an hat
I live in Scotland, in a village 10 minutes away from where the designer lives, but chose to make my purchase from Mary Maxim as I've seen the results of so many makes in Prism and love them. The kit comes in a strong clear storage bag, which is similar in size to the ones I use to protect my stash from cat hair, so it's easily stored with the others. The colours and textures of the yarns are gorgeous. The pattern is well written and easy to follow, even for a visual learner, like me. This is a wee Christmas gift to myself, but I've got a feeling that once it's completed, it'll find itself in my son's room! I can't wait to get started. We need a Mary Maxim outlet on this side of the pond.

I ordered a few kits and this is the first one I started. I would prefer if it came with single segments of yarn so I didn't have to keep rethreading the needle but I learned to tape the end of the yarn to simplify rethreading and that definitely sped things up.
