Even though the Lacy Edge Blanket has many different stitches, it is well-designed and the pattern is given with attention to detail for any crocheter willing to work the pattern. The crafter is carefully led round after round through the border of the Lacy Edge Blanket, building upon the center panel to create a delicate frame of lace. Kit includes Mary Maxim Baby's Best yarn and pattern. Finished: 38" x 45” [96.5 x 114.5 cm]. Requires Crochet Hook Size 7 (4.5 mm).

Love this yarn! So soft. Very easy to work with.
I am a complete newbie. Never knew how to knit but I practiced and learnt all the required techniques before I worked with my actual yarn. The multi coloured intarsia is quite hard for beginners so I would recommend using only 2 colours for intarsia and duplicate stitch the remaining colours and details. Completed the prohject in 1.5 months and while it definitely doesn't look as good as an experienced knitter since I've made a lot of mistakes on the intarsia parts, I am very proud of my cardigan :> Amaze amaze amaze!

I was very happy with my yarn! I ordered 12 , I got 9 of 1 color and 3 of another color. Plenty of each to make lots of items. I received the cones which I was really happy about . I got a nice mixture of the small skeins that came with each one. This should last me a long time but I would definitely order again. What a great value!

The Vintage Wallpaper Throw is an easy and fun project! I loved crocheting this throw and took it everywhere. People would come up to me and ask me about it and want to touch the yarn which is very soft. Of course I had to excitedly tell them all about Bag O Day and her easy tutorials! She does have a tutorial of this throw which I used a couple times for the border. I have never put a border on a blanket before. I love how quick and easy the half double crochet stitch is, it’s also my favorite stitch so far. This kit or the finished project would make a great gift! I will buy this again in other colors.

Made this blanket for my daughter’s baby girl. She just loves how pretty it is . She plans on using it for monthly pictures of her little girl. This blanket will make the perfect background. It is very detailed and just a pop of color.
The interior section of this blanket was fun to make. The instructions are good but read them thoroughly. There are a variety of stitches in this blanket that require attention to detail. Also be sure to start on the proper corner when beginning the border or you won’t come out with the correct number of stitches.

Worked up to be a lovely blanket for a baby shower. Only complaint was I had to order more of the white wool while there was way too much of the gray. Quantity was as stated in the kit.

The wool I’m using is wonderful. However the pattern instructions are very poorly written. Almost every row I would have to read a few times to try and understand what the instructions are and then re- write them. Very frustrating. If it wasn’t for the picture so I could determine what I was doing I think I’d never get the blanket done. It would have been helpful if every row indicated how many stitches I should end up with. The very last row was so difficult to understand I had to phone Mary Maxim store and talk to someone to help me decipher what was written. It took more than half hour. Even she had a problem understanding. I don’t think I’ll be purchasing instructions that are Mary Maxim again. I’ll just use what I have at home. Still haven’t completed the last row.

I love this pattern! It was easy to follow, yet had a variety of stitches so I didn't get bored doing the same thing all the time. The yarn in the kit was very soft. I have made the pattern five times already and am starting my sixth this evening. Directions were easy to follow also. Kit contained plenty of yarn.
