Take Me Out to the Ballgame

Take Me Out to the Ballgame

Kendra Sagash |

Spring is finally here, and that also means baseball season is back! Are you a fan of baseball or have a family member that loves a certain team? Several staff members here at Mary Maxim are jumping on board to do a knit and crochet along for a wins-losses scarf for each of our favorite teams and we want you to join along! We will be sharing our progress as the season unfolds, and we hope you will too. Kendra's scarf in progress We will be using Starlette Yarn and have put together some color combos for several popular MLB teams; if you don’t see your team, comment below and we will help find the right colors for you. Each scarf will require 4 colors, one for winning a home game, one for winning an away game, and the same for losses. We have provided a beginner knit and beginner crochet pattern below, and will provide some links to show you how to get started, so everyone can “play”! In the next weeks we will cover color changes, and when we wrap up the season, weaving in ends. Each scarf will be unique because we never know what the season holds. You can go to here to get your team schedule, as well see wins and losses if you miss any games. MLB team colors in Starlette Of the 4 colors for your team, choose which you want each to represent.
