The countdown to our Summer Crochet Along has begun. Our Summer Crochet Along will start June 9th (International Craft in Public Day), and we’ll be out and about to crochet our Uptown Diamonds Wrap kit. This week we are kicking off the fun with our first competition where one person will win the
Uptown Diamonds Wrap kit and a skein of
Starlette Sparkle yarn for 3 of their favorite crafters.
Summer Crochet Along - Uptown Diamond Wrap
Our
Uptown Diamond Wrap retails for $14.99, but we will be featuring special discounts for those joining our Summer Crochet Along starting with our Share Your Sparkle contest. The Uptown Diamonds wrap is crocheted with our
Starlette Sparkle yarn which comes in 7 colors (Ruby, White, Royal, Topez, Emerald, Black, and Amethyst) and requires an I-9 5.5mm hook. The completed wrap measures 16" by 60". We are very excited to be featuring this kit in our Summer Crochet Along, it's the perfect summer wrap. The wrap is light enough not to overheat you on warm summer nights yet boasts enough coverage to complement any summer wardrobe. Our favorite part of this kit, of course, is how well the yarn and pattern accentuate each other, the light sparkle from our Starlette Sparkle yarn and diamond pattern is sure to dazzle and attract admirers.
There are 4 ways to enter the Share your Sparkle contest:
1 entry for joining our
Mary Maxim Crochet Along Facebook group
3 entries: 1 entry for each crafter you tag in the comments under the

Hi, Christine, it’s classified according to the Craft Yarn Council’s guidelines as an intermediate crochet project. However, if you can chain, single crochet and double crochet then this is a great project to try. We will be doing tutorials along the way and we offer excellent pattern support from our Project Assistance team.
What is the difficulty level of this project?
