Create two festive Christmas stockings with this pattern and Mary Maxim worsted weight yarn. These beloved holiday staples will be cherished for generations to come! Originally designed with Mary Maxim Starlette, our most popular worsted-weight yarn! You will need for Snowman: Mary Maxim Starlette MC Red (1 skein), Green (1), White (1), Black (70 yds). Rudolph: MC White(1 skein), Green (1), Red (1), Tan (70 yds), Brown (40 yds), also needed U.S. size 8 (5.00 mm) knitting needles. Completed approximately 22" in length. Perfect for those with intermediate knitting skills.
Stitch Requirements: Cast on, cast off, knit, purl, stocking stitch, increase, decrease, repeat, embroidery duplicate stitch, and colored pattern knitting method.

Great customer service! I bought the newer Fox Cardigan Kit. When I received the kit one of the skeins of yarn was not the same brand as all others in the kit. I contacted Mary Maxim customer service and alerted them to the problem. They responded quickly and replaced the incorrect skein with one of the matching brand and color free of charge!

I made these stockings years ago and have had request to make them for my great nieces and nephews. I recently made the snowman one for my great nephew. According to his father they hold a lot of stuff!

I have sent a couple of emails explaining there is a descrepency when printing off the reindeer pattern , no matter how one tries to print it off there are 2 blocks missing from the right hand side of the pattern that I had to put in myself manually , this should not be . I did send emails explaining this but never did get a reply fr anyone . needless to say im not a satisfied customer , but a very disappointed customer ...

My sister had a friend who made this stocking for each member of her family. That friend has now passed away and my sister wanted her grandson to have a stocking that matched. I looked up this pattern and it was exactly the same pattern. When making it I was concerned about knitting the heel because I had never done one before. I looked up videos and was thrilled to find that Mary Maxim had one specifically for this pattern (minus the snowman) and I was able to follow it very easily. My sister was so happy that he grandson now has a matching stocking to hang on the fireplace mantle!

I made Rudolph..first time using multiple colours, tricky for an almost 85 year old. Pattern needs to be bigger.

It is hard to knit the design as you go. My suggestion is to knit the sock plain and just to add the design, including the name in duplicate stitch at the end. It looks the same
