I have several different colors and other brands of cotton and as far as the stiffer cotton they compare the same and a little cheaper. THIS IS RIDICULOUS SO FAR I'VE THROWN OUT ONE BALL OF YARN AND RIGHT NOW I'M CLOSE TO THROWING OUT ANOTHER. YOU CAN'T STUFF THAT MUCH YARN IN THE CENTER OF THE BALL OF YARN. THIS DOESN'T EVEN DESERVE ONE STAR. I'M NOT REVIEWING MY WHOLE ORDER. THE YARN ITSELF IS FINE BUT THE WAY IT IS PACKAGED IS VERY POOR.
