This one was a little challenging but overall not that hard. I didn't like the colors as much as I thought I would. But that is because it didn't match the photo. The color is more of a tan color than what the picture looks like. The picture looks more beige with a hint of grey. So it was not the color I was expecting. I would have preferred the color it is in the photo. That being said, other than the color it did turn out nice. I have received many compliments on it. The yarn isn't the best quality, but not the worst.

I saw this in the catalog and just had to make it. I was a bit disappointed that each piece of the birdhouse had to be cut from a large square of plastic canvas. I thought the pieces would have already been cut. The directions are easy to understand and there is plenty of yarn to complete it. It looks very cute in my spare bedroom
I’ve made several tissue box covers, but this one was certainly a challenge because of all the pieces. The instructions were complete and easy to follow. I love the end result!

The pattern was relatively easy to follow except for a few confusing things here and there. I hadn’t done a plastic canvas kit before and so one thing I wish the description included was that you would have to cut out all the pieces. A few of the yarns were thicker or more coarse which made stitching it difficult as it would cause the yarn to unravel. With more experience or a lot of patience this is a wonderful little kit that makes a cute finished product to display or give as a gift!
I haven’t begun this project yet and I hope that it isn’t too difficult for a beginner. I ordered it because it looked adorable in the catalog.

Some of the yarn was poor. Knots and joints in the yarn ! Easy pattern to follow for an intermediate skill level. Requires much more attention when out the canvas for a beginner.
This cover took a little more time to complete because of the details. But it came out beautifully and gets lots of comments from folks. I love it! *S*

I am disappointed with this kit. The quality of the yarn is poor. It feels like I am working with straw. I expected the canvas pieces to be precut. It would have been better to just purchase the instructions and use my own yarn. Even the canvas seems poor quality. I won't be buying any more kits.
I made this bird house and also gingerbread house into a candy dish. Gingerbread house for Christmas and birdhouse spring. Put a bottom on and have a removal roof. People love them
