Knit the Men's Pullover and Cardigan with cables, using this pattern. One of the original Northland bulky yarn designs was converted to worsted-weight yarn for a lightweight sweater option! The yarn used originally was Mary Maxim's Knitting Worsted, which offered approx. 240 yds on a 4 oz skein at that time. But now, with a wide variety of worsted yarns to choose from, you can customize this project to suit your style. Keep in mind that yardage may differ. All you need are U.S. sizes 4 (3.5 mm), 6 (4 mm), and 8" double point size 4 (3.5 mm) needles to begin! Fits sizes 38-40-42-44—Intermediate knit.
Stitch Requirements: Cast on, cast off, knit, purl, repeat, increase, decrease, psso, slip stitch, stocking stitch, cable stitches.

This blanket is an easy, uncomplicated project. One stitch throughout, so it's a great one to work on while watching television. Yes, you do change colors every two rows but that's not a huge inconvenience once you fall in love with all the colors! Beautiful yarn! Mary Maxim Mellowspun DK feels like silk in your hands. I bought this pattern to make a baby blanket as a gift for a baby shower. All ive got left is to sew on the appliqués. This pattern is super easy to read and understand and gives great instruction and photos/ diagram. 10/10 recommend
Very happy with the pattern. Instructions are very clear and the chart is well presented. Need to do a bit of editing of the chart to turn the wolf into a fox but looking forward to knitting it. 😁
