Bernat Softee Chunky Yarn

Love this yarn!! Great for making baskets, or think cozy blankets. It works up quick due to the bulkiness which is good for a quick project. Love all the colors!! I definitely recommend and always buying more :)

This is my go to year for almost everything I make from hats to afghans. For winter clothing items, this yarn will assure you warmth. You will not be disappointed. Works up beautifully in fabulous colors.

Perfect for my blanket ! So nice to work with

This yarn was so simple to work with and it’s so soft and cozy. The afghan I made is beautiful. It’s a Christmas gift but it’s so cozy I may keep it for myself. Love it!! Highly recommended!

The quality of this yarn is pretty good…used it to make multiple children hats on a size 13 needle and it was fairly thick. Unraveled a little at the ends.

This yarn knits up quickly and is nice and soft. After making the simple stripe knit blanket kit, I decided to get more yarn so I could make another one as I have been getting requests!

I love the yarn. It's very soft, easy to work up, and it has amazing stitch definition. I bought the colors wine, natural and grey blue. I'm a beginner crocheter. The project was a small blanket for my husband's chair.

I use Bernat Softee Chunky for Afghans. I recently made a couple of afghans for a craft show. Everyone who stopped by said that this yarn is so soft and just couldn’t stop stroking the yarn. It is warm, soft and absolutely great to work with.
Yes, those afghans sold for Christmas gifts!

I use this yarn to make adult hats and headbands. Very soft and not “itchy”. Great variety of colors.

Love the softness & quality of this yarn. I love working with it.

Creating a sweater for a daughter. This will be cozy for our Minnesota winters!

Soft texture, no flaws in skein, perfect for my sheep blanket project.

I loved using this yarn. It was easy to work with and the project turned out beautifully

This is a beautiful yarn that is easy to work with...threads do not separate easily while crocheting and it makes up into a comfortably soft project.

Easy to work with, yummy colors

On my 3rd hooded lama afghan, this you handles beautifully. Love the look and am going to make more of the hooded animal blankets with it! The colors are just radiant.
Added photos of not quite completed project, but you can see it works up nicely.

This yarn represents it name. The only problem is I should have ordered more, which I real soon.

Yarn is soft and lofty too working up into a nice warm afghan that is not too heavy !

I very much enjoy working with this yarn. It's easy for me to hold onto

This yarn is a nope from me. I loom knit and it was an absolutely disaster to knit with. It kept splitting. It was difficult to navigate. Probably one of the worst yarns I have worked with on my journey. I wasn’t happy or proud when I finished my project. I was merely glad I was done. I’m still gonna try another project on it but I don’t have high hopes. So im using it on projects that aren’t high value and are the kind that keep my hands busy when anxiety is too much.

Exactly what I needed for my project. Description was accurate, purchase process was easy, shipping was on time.

I tend to enjoy bulky yarn, and this is it! It is sooo nice!! Definitely worth the purchase.

I also want to thank the Mary Maxim team. The mail carrier delivered my package to my neighbor's house. The team was very patient in helping me figure things out.

Love this yarn, I crocheted a highland cow.

Love this yarn!

Perfect yarn
