1 lb. Unbanded Sugar'n Cream Cotton - no color choice

Watched a few unboxings on YouTube of these cotton bundles from Mary Maxim. They had received a decent variety of colors, a few of the same colors but not ALL the same. I ordered a bunch and hoped for a little variety in colors but no, I got ALL the SAME color. I don’t think I will order this bundle again.

It is great for the price. I ordered 5 knowing that I would most likely get the same color (sadly I did) for all 5 but I had hope for at least some variety. Sadly, all cones and small skeins are the same color but that just means that I won't run out of it any time soon. I will say I do wish that if someone orders more than 1 of this that they would throw at least 2 different colors in but it's the luck of the draw with these and they are mystery/no color choice so you can't really be that bummed if you get all the same color. I definitely will be ordering again if it comes back in stock just maybe as soon as it does for a chance of different colors! I am happy with my purchase

6/30/26. Got a great variety of shades. I got a Creamsicle looking skein which I’ve been unable to purchase online for a while. Happy about that. Also got a bunch of smaller balls of the red and green, which I will happily use for Christmas projects. I will definitely buy again multiple of these at once.

I ordered 8 of the one pound bundles. I got a great variety of color combos, with only a few duplicates. The “mystery” suspense was almost unbearable waiting for delivery (lol) but I am very happy with the yarns I received. :)

I was very pleased with the cone of Sugar'n Cream that I received. It is Yellow and Green and makes a really nice pattern when I use it. So far I am making a gamer dice bag and it looks great. The small amount of solid color yarn that came with it was nice too, although I would not use hot pink with this green and yellow combination!

I ordered 10 pounds worth. Very pleased with the value and quick shipping. All 10 cones were the same color but also got 10 smaller skeins which were an assortment of 5 different colors. 10/10 recommend.

Love this yarn for stiffer machine washable projects like bags or baskets. Ordered 6 and got two cones of one color and four of another plus a variety of smaller balls. Very happy with purchase!

I make dishcloths, potholders and market bags from worsted cotton that i sell at craft shows. I have ordered this unbanded cotton 3 times now and each time my order was for 10 pounds. This is the most economical way i've found to buy worsted cotton and it is fun to open the box and see what colors I got this time and each time. I have been able to and enjoyed using up all that I received. I will certainly be ordering again and again and again.

I bought 3 bags hoping for a variety, but I got 3 huge spools of the same variegated yarn and with one small solid color each. Definitely worth it for the money since they’re priced at $20 for one big spool. I just hoped for different colors than getting 3 bags of the same thing.

I know there was no color choice and I've ordered in the past and was pleased and I always got one color per pound. This time I got two colors for each pound and they did not blend and would not work. I make rugs. They wash wonderful and keep their shape. My friends and family always want more and the girls enjoy using them as much as I do making them

I’ve been ordering cotton mill ends for a long time. They were out of stock for so long that when they appeared again, I jumped and bought 3!
However, it is NOT all one shade in each bag as advertised now. All three bags had a huge skein of one color and a teeny tiny skein in different color. What am I supposed to make with the tiny skein? Just wasteful. I make washcloths, bags, and other useful items. I’m assuming that each large skein didn’t add up to the pound so they threw in a tiny bit of another color to get it there. But it’s so little of an amount, it is unusable for me.

Wanted to try this. I received 9 balls of a coral color. lol.

I enjoy getting the 1lb of sugar'n cream cotton yarn. I like the useful variety of colors. The quality is spot on. The shipping is fast; if I order on Monday, I have delivery on Saturday. It's a great pick me up and I'm always excited to see what color I received. It always inspires new projects. The colors aren't obnoxious,they have always been very practical and I appreciate that most of all. Pro tip- order 2, at a time and they pair complimentary colors. It's economical and fun!

Not only is the yarn extremely scratchy, but seriously? When the description says no color choice, that's fine but did the entire bag have to be the same off white nicotine stain color? I guess I got what I paid for technically.

I love Lily for crocheting dishcloths and towels. It holds up well. And there’s no beating this deal. The colorway isn’t one I would have chose but for the price, I’m good with it.

Bought (10) 1lb. bags of cotton yarn. I couldn't be happier! I was so glad each bag was a different color! I will be back for sure! Shipping was fast too! Quality is great!

The yarn is easy to work with and not too coarse. My disappointment is that when washed the colours run and fade. Not good when making a Baby Blanket!!!

Always like the cotton yarn that has been sent. It is my “go to” yarn for making dishcloths.

I enjoyed using it and made several wash cloths and a mesh bag.

It was worth the money but for some reason I thought it would be an assortment of colors. I didn't fully read the description, so that's on me. Other than that, it was fine and I am able to use it for bandanas and dishcloths!

I have ordered a few times. Great quality, always fun to see what color I get.

I make and donate washcloths to a local charity who donates them to local low income people in New housing. This was the best deal I could find for this cotton which did not have to be a specific color. I got white in one package and green in another. Worked out great
